The pitching was not great in these games, but they really struggled to hit, only putting up nine runs in these games. They lost four games in a row (three to the Houston Astros). The Braves showed a crack in their armor last week.
It is also worth mentioning that the Braves’ bullpen has held it down and has a 3.56 ERA. Kyle Wright has been struggling, but Max Fried has a 0.60 ERA, and Bryce Elder and Spencer Strider have ERAs under two. They are averaging over five runs a game and have five hitters with 11 or more RBIs. There is no denying how impressive this Braves team is. The Braves are still atop the NL East with a 15-8 record.
